Jacqueline Law
Director, Actor, Playwright
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Jacqueline Ho Yin Law joined the Junior Music Programme at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and received professional training in music and voice. She obtained her first Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) in Sociology in 2020. She then graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, under the EXCEL Pearson BTEC Level 4 Performing Arts (musical theatre) program, and was awarded Outstanding Student of the Year. She joined Art Mentor as a resident actor, playwright, and director after she graduated. She has performed in numerous musicals, including The Miracle of Music, Butterfly Lovers reimagined, Guardian Angels, Man a la Central 2.0 (RNTTAP), And Housemates, etc. She is currently a full time Tap dancer and performer in RNTTAP. Jacqueline also teaches and directs musical theatre in many Hong Kong local and international schools. She is recently a tutor, singing coach, scriptwriter, director, and stage manager in a few schools. She is also a dance performer and has performed in different commercial dance shows. She dances jazz, contemporary, jazz funk, and tap dance. In 2023, she represented Hong Kong and participated in the International Dance Organization tap dance competition.
